Helly, What is "rocket?"

I prefer simple.
Choice of bread.
Cream cheese
Cucumber
Guac
Lettuce
Tomato
And Black Pepper

fried egg. mmm.

Roasted peppers, cream cheese, and rocket on brown bread, preferably with a sweet onion relish.

Rocket is a peppery salad leaf with long thin wavy leaves. Really delicious.

idunno. i'm not a vegetarian. just put some vegetables on some bread, and call it a vegetarian sandwich.

i love taking pita bread and stuffing it w/ tabouli (wheat salad). you can find both probably in the health food section of ur grocery store

I like black bean burrito with monterey jack cheese, avocado, rice, and salsa

This is an awesome recipe I have all the time at a local restaurant:
2 slices whole wheat or oat bread
ranch dressing
red wine vinaigrette
humus
butter leaf lettuce
havarti cheese
roma tomatoes
roasted sunflower seeds

spinage, manaze, cellery, carrots, and radishes. (on wheat bread.)

My favorite is alfalfa sprouts, avocado slices, and Adams peanut butter on honey wheatberry bread.

Toasted wheat bread with Avocado and tomatoes and sprouts!
Another favorite is one I get from Barney's burgers: Toasted bread with cucumbers, sprouts, tomatoes with garlic pesto spread!

I loooooooooove sprouts! I frequently crave them. I put them on rye bread with some mustard, vegannaise, avacado, tomato, and smoked cheddar. It's so simple but when I want one, I've gotta have it!

Hi,

I like quorn TM and stuffing (vegetarian types ofcourse). Salad with hot salsa. Low fat veggie cheese and salsa. Pickle and salad. Tomato sandwiches. Salad pitta, hummus , kidney beans with salad, (veggie friendly) pease pudding (a North-East England thing made from yellow split peas but some ejits put meat stock in it - vile pervs eh?!?!) and salad. Lettuce, spring onions (scallions) and tomatoes!!.

Just a few, I hope at least one of them is suitable for you!!!!

Rocket is a kind of lettuce it is really nice.

Not really a "recipe," but absolutely wonderful --

Get your favorite vegetarian burger (I can't remember the name of my favorite at the moment! "Light" something, found in the organic section of the supermarket).
A portabella mushrooms cap.
A few slices of Swiss (you can change this if you want).
A hamburger bun/roll.

If you'd like add some lettuce, tomato, onions, etc.
I love to put BBQ sauce on mine.

Anyway, cook the veggie burger how you normally would. Dip the mushroom cap in some olive oil and let it sit on the stove for 5 or 6 minutes, and flip it and let it cook a little more (another 2 or 3 minutes). Put the mushroom onto the burger immediately, and then put the cheese over it while it's still hot (unless you don't want your cheese melted). It's so good!

Peanut butter and banana on whole grain bread.

1. American cheese, pickles, tomatoes, avocado, & sprouts on squaw bread.

2. fried egg, american cheese and slices of sweet banana peppers with a little mustard on wheat.

3. peanut butter & pickles

4. Subway or Quizno's veggie on wheat, no onions - they are both really good

5. Panera Bread's mediteranean veggie sandwich - piquant peppers, feta cheese, cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cilantro hummus on tomato basil bread.

2 of my favorites (there both pretty similar):
Tempeh Parmasian: 5 grain tempeh, marinara sauce, and your fav. cheese in a sub roll
Portobello Panini: Portobello mushroom, marinara sauce, and cheese in a panini style sandwich

ALT- Avocado Lettuce and Tomato. For all you Orange County locals- Vegitarian BLT and the GYPSY DEN(check it out, greatest restaurant)

multigrain bread
wholegrain mustard
lettuce
baby spinach and maybe some rocket
tomato
beetroot
some 3 beans mix
maybe some cheese

i also like some gourmet sandwiches/foccacias/burgers
foccacias
in them i like feta, kalamata olives, sundried/semi-dried tomato, eggplant, artichoke and maybe a felafel

in a gourmet burger i like: grilled slice potato, slice eggplant, sauted mushrooms, basic salad ingredients (tomato, lettuce etc), and a vegie burger made with chickpeas or beans

Last month I had an avocado, alfalfa sprouts, and nonfat cheese sandwich on whole grain bread with nonfat mayo. It was delicious.

BLT using Lightlife's Smart Bacon

Morning Star Farms produces best "Fake" burger, "Grillers".
Toast bread, mayonnaise(any kind), heat burger, top with cheese (again any kind) catsup, pickle. yum yum
Loma Linda(you can find their food on-line) also makes really great fake meat slices oh sooooooooo good.
