Question for vegetarians?!

Question:

Question for vegetarians?

Scientists now say that tree's have moods/feelings. If this is so then surely plants do as well. How do you feel about killing, and chopping up poor plants that have feelings?

Answers:
I'm not a vegetarian. But I love veggies. I'd say, plants having living cells in them, and they are a real part of what our living bodies need.

So we take them in and they become a part of our living bodies.

All of us must have food, and being the bottom of the food chain, they were created and are fulfilling their purpose by being eaten.

Still, ya do tend to feel sorry for that little green bean, though! And just think, he mighta had family!

It's called the circle of life.

About the same as meat eaters feel about cows getting killed so they can eat hamburger. NO GUILT.

It takes alot more plants to feed animals and then kill and eat the animals than it does to just eat the plants straight. Good excuse, though.

Most plants are harvested at the end of there natural lives, unlike pigs, cows, chickens and turkeys that are killed after less than a year, which is definitely not there natural life span. Also, most plants are grown outside and therefore get to feel the sun and experience a normal plant life, just because they need sunlight to survive, but sadly that is not so for farm animals, most are crammed into windowless warehouse with cement floors...

Yes, all living things have feelings. To know more about killing of plants, you can refer to literature of the Jain religion of India. Though I am not a Jain, I do think we should keep to the minimum the killing of all living things. Some earthlings resort to mindless killing of helpless fellow creatures.

Hahaahaha. You guys crack me up. Why is everybody so quick to try to prove everyone else wrong? Just do what you do and be happy with it.

Hahahaa. That was a good one though. Love it. Plants are alive too. I agree. But it's a bug eat bug world out there...All of us animals eat something and kill it whether it is plant or animal.

what? animals feel more then the plants. i can say that.

That is the dumbest **** I've ever heard of.You think plants have feelings. Why would you go for an argument like to defend eating meat, you would never say something so farfetched as plants have feelings normally. If you stepped on some rosebushes you don't feel sorry for hurting the roses do you,or do feel bad when you step on grass,no you don't.If you eat vegetarian you consume less plants anyways. You are killing MORE plants and MORE animals by eating meat.

I don't know many vegetarians that eat trees. Regardless of that, you're lying.

Yes. This is a fact. I have heard this argument many times from my omnivore friends.
The consciousness level of plants is way inferior to the animal's. Think about a cow, pig... When they are brought to to the slaughter house. They already are in a state of fear before getting slaughtered what to speak of the pain they go through...
Have you ever seen a salad you harvest bleed????????????
Genesis 1:29 states "And God said: Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree that has seed-yielding fruit - to you it shall be for food."
The plants, fruits... were put on this earth to serve us as food. Animals were put on this planet to coexist with us not to be killed and eaten.

No brain or central nervous system...

your question reminds me of an old punk song...what was it?

wherever u heard that from, they are just talking bullshit. they do not know that plants have feelings! cows and chicken and pig and all other animals have feelings and faces and body parts and maybe families-just like us. plants do not have any of that. and personally, i believe in evolution. so if people came from animals then that means that we are like exactly like them. so, just think about it, plants have feelings? psshhh.

What if the plants feel like being eaten?

you are obviously a fraud, no vegetarian would say such silly things. Get your facts strait.
