i make a dressing from ground ginger, sesame oil, miso paste, soy sauce or tamari, cayenne and cilantro powders, lemon juice & brown rice vinegar, and a shot or three of soy milk for consistency

a simple sesame oil & soy sauce dressing is delicious & nutritious

if it's hard tofu, cut it into 'slabs'? & bake with a bit of oil, salt & herbs & spices you like

as a desert add a warm carob/honey sauce or maple syrup

enjoy

Toss it w/ some beef gravy?

OMG i love tofu all you have to do is fry them, but do not cover them with anything!!! Then once you are done frying them dip them in hot pepper chili sauce.

Get some sause (that u think taste good) and fry it, when turning add apply sause.

I would get yourself a good Chinese (or Japanese or Korean) cookbook. There are dozens if not hundreds of easy ways to make great-tasting tofu dishes. One easy way to make a cold appetizer would be to mix it with sesame oil into a porridge-like substance. Another dish is Ma-Po Tofu, in which it's stir-fried with hot bean paste and some other common things. Good luck!

Just buy it from the store. They have it good!

Get the book "Tofu Cookery"(link below)! If you say that Chocolate Tofu pie (as one example) doesn't taste good you need a doctor!

cook it with chives, tomatoes, and ground pork. With some salt. You decide whether it's good or not.

There are boiler tofus that you can buy at Asian markets. The big ones, cut a hole in them and put salted pork in. Then cook like you would with a regular dish...they are great! don't forget to spice it with sugar and soy sauce when cooking it!

sprinkle in some bacon bits

marinade it for awhile and it'll absorb some flavor (if you freeze it forst and then squeeze out all the water, it'll take in more flavor)

Tofu doesn't taste like much. It's the texture that's the problem.

Make a tofu curry! Delicious curry, and...chunks of some sort of soy-based industrial by-product that taste faintly of curry.

The other day, I bought a frozen entrée with tofu in it by accident. I love the other, non-tofu varieties of the same dish from the same brand. Should've been great, given that the tofu had soaked up the sauce, right? No. I picked out the little tofu cubes.

If you're desperate to choke it down for some reason, try blending the very soft kind into some sort of, well, heavily blended something -- tofu 'milk' shake, say.

Then again, a lot of people I know seem to enjoy the deep-fried kind. Perhaps worth a try. And, since I just can't stand the texture, I've never tried marinating it to within an inch of its life like many people do; might also be worth a try.

Scrambled Tofu on Toast

Ingredients

half a box of tofu
knob of margarine
soya milk
black pepper
herbs
bread
1 tsp vegan boullian powder

To make the scrambled tofu take the tofu out of the packet and mash up with a fork or potato masher. Mix with a dash of milk. Then put on the heat and add a knob of margarine. Once the margarine is melted and all ingredients are mixed together season with the black pepper and herbs. Add the vegan boullian powder if you like it to look more yellow and have a more salty taste.

Once the tofu is heated thoroughly serve on toast and add extra black pepper.

It is best if you continually stir this recipe to prevent sticking.

It will pick up the flavor of whatever you put with it, so think of your favorite flavors and spices, and have fun!
