I think I can give an educated guess at what he is like.he has high cholesterol,he can't get erections anymore,he is going through his mid-life crisis,he is fat,he is balding,he has no life,he is lonely,he is working some job he hates,he has no real friends,his family has disowned him,he has no sex life,he is married to his cousin(or sister),he lives a boring,repetitive lifestyle,he is seriously unhappy,he has suicidal thoughts,he hates himself,his father beat him when he was young,his father raped him when he was young,his grandpa raped him when he was young,his neighbor raped him when he ws young,his local priest raped him when he was young,he is going through the lowest point in his life,he is just wasting away and rotting,he has probably had an affair with a dead animal before,he was cheated on several times,he is...I could go on forever.

I think the best thing you, and all us vegetarians/vegans can do, is just ignore him and rise above his childish posts. By posting this topic you're giving him exactly what he wants - attention.

Don't let this wind you up. What will happen is that if you, and others, complain about someone, they will get the last laugh. Yahoo doesn't seem to want, or be able, to remove them. I hope I'm proved wrong. Best to just let them have their head; in our free country they are entitled to their opinion, so long as it's not incitement to - well, whatever laws have been passed recently.

I usually hang out in the Religion & Spirituality section, and have come across some truly uplifting, wonderful people; and a few very odd individuals indeed. Some certainly seem to have a BIG problem with Christians; horrendously offensive comments, then violation notices served on, for example, soppy poems about being kind to one another; the kind of thing that is about as offensive as Incy Wincy Spider. I have learned my lesson about making complaints about people - although I only told the truth and wasn't malicious. They make them back, and nastier. So, I would say that the person who has offended you just hasn't met any nice vegans yet. OK?

So, some have freedom of speech, and some don't... Have a look at the Yahoo rules, and if you think they've been violated, report the individual concerned. But you might find your innocent questions & comments targeted. A lso, best to remove your email address for a bit, if you haven't already. xx

I'm not sure this is even worth it anymore. Us Vegans and Vegetarians need to focus on whats really important here. Properly answering the legitimate questions people have of our lifestyle in the hopes of gaining a few more for our side. If this site is not doing this then what are we doing here. We have no more use to be here than FHG if we are not supporting, and providing a shining example of the Veggie community. Do this right and this section of Yahoo! Answers becomes useful in ending non-human oppression. I know it's fun to fight with him but this has been going on for months. I for one say we start to use this site to inform people of a great lifestyle choice instead of putting our energy tords this waste of time. But that, I'm afraid, is up to all you to decide.
