Is there any difference between spinich and silver beet?!

Question:

Is there any difference between spinich and silver beet?

Answers:
Silverbeet is similar, but also not, to spinach. Silverbeet is a much coarser proposition. Silverbeet is known in the Continent as Swiss Chard. It is often suggested that silverbeet be substituted for spinach, but this to my mind results in a much different dish. Spinach can be creamed but I dare anyone to try that with silverbeet - and enjoy it.

YES

Silver beet = Swiss Chard

Also known as Swiss Chard the silver beet is a member of the spinach family, but has a better flavor in certain recipes. It also has a better texture and is less watery then spinach. It has about the same nutritional values.

yep
