Question:

I want to carry some cool health food to take for lunch to college...Any ideas??

Id prefer some raw food which does not need to be chopped fine....because i dont like to eat fruits n veggies long time after cutting.....

Answers:
I'm a vegan, and in college... and one of my favorite things is raw almonds...
also maybe buy some bottled organic tea, or better yet make your own (iced or hot)
If you have access to a microwave.... one of my favorite things to make at my summer job was Gardenburger veggie medley patties w/o a bun, very good also.

Lunchbox Dippers

Ingredients

Carrot sticks
Salsa
Houmous

To make lunchboxes more exciting serve some chopped up vegetables with dips.

Houmous and salsa are great contrasting flavours - the creamy houmous with the spicy refreshing salsa. Great served with crunchy carrot sticks or other crudities.

Pita wraps!

Carrot sticks!

Fresh fruit: Kiwi, banana, strawberries, grapefruit, berries.

Dried fruit: Mango, figs, papaya, apple, pear, raisins, prunes.

Roasted Soy Beans!
-Lightly salted and infused with Garlic or herb flavours!

Nuts!
-almonds, peanuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds...

Wraps are a great idea because you can make them right when you want to eat them.

I know it isn't raw, but I love a thermos full of vegetarian chili.

Or a thermos full of vegetarian backed beans with cut up veggie dogs.

You can take a pita. Your best bet is to take already chopped carrots. You can add some olives in there to make the carrots taste better. Celery is also a good option. You can also buy premixed salad.

yoghourt, saltine crackers, tuna :)

Sushi! if fish is ok, I know some vegetarians still eat fish. Sorry if you dont, everyone else had great ideas tho
