If you have been a vegetarian?!
If you have been a vegetarian?
for over 5 months and you accidentally have a bite of meat will you have an upset stomach for a few days?
Answers:
It would depend on your pesonal body chemistry as well as the type and preparation of the meat product. under normal circumstances a bite of meat should not be a problem. I've been a vegetarian for about 7 years, and do have the occasional meat product, maybe once or twice a year, on purpose, and haven't noticed any problems.
One time I ordered a veggie burger at a restaurant. I took a bite out of it, and it just felt wrong. I looked at it, and surte enough, it was NOT a veggie burger, but a hamburger. Nothing happened to me except that I the waiterss brought me a real veggie burger and the manager bought my lunch that day. So all in all it wasn't terrible.
Hope that helps!
Happy holidays!
it is more in your head that you ate it if you have it that long,,,, meat may upset your stomach the first day but after that you would be ok
it depends on your stomach...i was a vegetarian for 5 years and i ate a cheeseburger and chicken nuggets one day and was completely fine.
SORRY,DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY ABOUT THAT,BUT A BITE,MMMM DON'T THINK WILL DO MUCH.
Not at all. As a matter of fact, eating meat occasionally is the reason for a vegetarian diet. Since I ma a microbiotic vegetarian, I know that the foods you eat will not cause an allergic reaction since your body is flexible enough to tolerate different foods. It is the minerals found in certain foods that causes the body to have an allergic reaction. Being a vegetarian allows you to eat a variety of meants that many Americans are not accustomed to, especially the lamb of New Zealand or the buffalo of the American plains, not to mention the Japanese white shark and the camel milk of the Middle East. Whew! Talk about exercise.
no
Did meat upset your stomach before? Is that why you became a vegetarian?
It depends on your system, really. You may notice a difference in your stomach, or you might notice a difference when you have to go to the bathroom. It may depend on the fat content of the meat as well, especially if you're accustomed to low-fat.
it depends on the person and how extreme of a vegetarian u are. some vegans can get sick from honey. it also has to do with the preperation of the meat.
No, it is psychosomatic. I know some people that have been vegetarians for 13 years, every once in a while they'll be a piece of meat in something they get at a restaurant, it is annoying but doesn't make them sick.
depends. it may be phsycoligal. like, now, if i smell meat i think of all those horrible factory farms and it makes me want to barf.
but it could also be phsycical. your body may not beable to handle the junk that's inside flesh and may respond by your stomach being upset.
either way...go vegie and stay vegie!!! yay! lol
If it's only a bite, your stomach will be fine. But if you eat a cheeseburger or something like that, maybe. If you've been a strict vegetarian, the effect will be worse than on a lacto ovo vegetarian. But that depends on how your body works and you haven't been a vegetarian for too long, so I think that you'll be fine.
