Why are you Vegan?!

Question:

Why are you Vegan?

Why did you choose to be a Vegan?... or Vegitarian?

And if you use to eat meat and became a vegan or vegitarian, what is one thing you miss the most? If anything.

NYIKKI> Have you tride the Vegan Cookies from Trader Joe's? (If you have it)

They're really good and for a pack of 12, it's less than $2.00.

i became one after i clicked on a link for the PETA video. i couldnt stomach meat after that. actually i dont miss anything cause i eat boca burgers and they are GOOD! i became a vegetarian and i wouldnt go back. my mom has been very supportive and only eats meat very seldom now. so i guess thats why.

I used to be a vegetarian, then i ate one

because I ran out of ways to be insultingly self rightous to people.

the thing I miss most are carrots.

I became vegan because it is the most healthy diet on the planet.

I chose to become vegan because I love animals, and it's not possible to love something and support its murder at the same time. I'm against the cruelty, torture, and murder of the animals, so I'm boycotting it! Plus, animal products are nasty when you think about what they actually ARE.

And of course it's extremely healthy and helps the environment! :)

i did beacuse it is wrong just to raise an animal cruely or un cruely just to kill it then eat it or hunt for them. i do not miss anyting

I don't think it is wrong to eat meat. I think it is wrong to lock an animal up its entire life, choose its mate, reverse evolution, and then execute it, nazi style- where the animal doesn't have a chance or prayer to escape. This is the main reason I chose to not eat meat one year ago. I just don't need it and can do quite fine without.

My mom's cooking is what I miss the most. Within the many sides of my family, I'm next to the only other person who is vegetarian. So I've been missing out.

I was a veggie for 7 years and knew cows were milked unnaturally but did not realise how much suffering they went through. Once I realised what really happens I gave up dairy instantly. They are basically milk machines with absolutely no humanity shown to them. A lot of women become vegan when they have a child because they can relate to the pain of having their newborn removed from them and consequently they distance themselves from that heartless industry.

Some of us, partly because of our heredity, and partly because of our potentiality, are trained night and day by the Creator's angels, to do some things and not do others. We are not bossed. We are trained as you would train a favorite dog. You asked Why am I Vegan.
And the thing I used to miss most is real cheese. Alas, it came from an animal.

I'm a vegetarian because:
- I don't support violence against animals
- It's a lot healthier and my body feels way better
- It's a little help we give to the environment.

One of my goals is to become a vegan, but there's something that really stops me from doing that: sweets. Although there are many vegan sweets, they simply don't taste the same; believe me, I've tried. I can't be a vegan for now because where I live is pretty hard to find vegan products and if I find them they're quite expensive.

i am a vegan because how can someone eat a poor innocent anamil just thinging about it is bad. if u where an animal would u like to die to be someone's food. if not then what right do we have?

im a veg and love to be Plz
