oh, man, (takes drag on a camel cigarette) that is one heavy question... it is like, you know, I know what are fettucine noodles, but what about plain fettucine ? right, it is like hard to explain, you know (scratches his head) it is like I know what is moon light, but what is just moon, right ?

Ramen noodles and ramen are the same thing...as tomtom1 so eloquently (and hilariously) put it, fettuccini noodles and fettuccini are the same. Just a redundancy. And it's pronounced rahmen.
