Question:

Why do i recently crave ice.?

i eat it from the time i get up til i go to bed at night.

Answers:
Interesting Me Too! Well I Dont Know Really I Get Ice Because Its So Freakin Hot These Days And Because I Want To Be Chewing On Something Cold...

are you pregnant? or stressed out? that is a symptom of both

Are you pregnant?

Maybe because of the hot weather.

yep when i was pregnant i craved it so badd i would wake up in the middle of the night to get it. but other wise i don't know

it tastes good LOL

could be stress or pregnancy. or just the craving to chew on something cold.

Hmm, I heard one time that people who crave ice are low in iron. Do you have any issues with anemia? Lots of pregnant people are low in this as well.
Try eating some iron rich foods and see if that helps or head off to the Dr. and see if your iron levels are low.

ice or ice creammm.

If you don't have any other symptoms, and only crave ice - could be pagophagia, which is compulsive eating of ice due to lack of iron.
It is not harmful if you have a balanced diet, however, eating ice can contribute to periodontal disease.
If you're not eating right and find yourself craving other things, like detergent, clay, matches, etc. then that could mean you have Pica, which is extremely dangerous in pregnant women. There are many types of pica.

However, I believe since you're just craving ice - you are probably okay. If you notice your eating habits changing or feel the need to suddenly eat soap or matches - call your doctor and don't eat the bad stuff! lol

In the meantime, take vitamins with Iron.

good luck!

I did hear it is something that has to do with iron, I also heard about it having to do with being with child. My niece ate ice all through her pregnancy she just couldn't help it.......I was scared for her because I thought she should be eating food. But she loved the ice and had a healthy (thank goodness) baby.
