Do apples have calories???

Do apples have calories? I eat @ least 1 apple a week but they make me feel really full. R apples bad 4 u>

Answers:
Of course apples have calories. Everything besides water has calories. Apples have about 80 calories each. But no, they're VERY good for you. Apples make you feel full because of the fiber, which your body needs for a healthy digestive system. Also it helps lower your cholesterol and prevent heart disease (an apple a day keeps the doctor away!!) I eat an apple every day. But even though they have calories, remember two things. One is that you need calories to function and the other is that your body naturally burns off calories through digestion and other functions. So because of all the fiber, apples are negative calories if you want to look at it that way. As well as this, apples actually help clean your teeth a bit by removing trapped food as you chew. Though slowly your enamel could wear away, it shouldn't have too much of an effect. So, eat apples!!

Apples are good for you but they do have calories, most things do. But apples are good calories not fatty.

Yes, there are calories in apples. They are not bad for you unless you are allergic to them. If you feel full, it may be the fiber content.

yes they do

Of course they have calories. But not too many. And lots of fiber. "An apple a day keeps the doctor away."

Apples are most definitely not bad for you! They are a great source of natural vitamins and nutrients. That they fill you up are a good thing, as you'll be less likely to eat unhealthy foods, if you feel full afterwards.

However, they sure do have calories! Virtually everything, other than water, has calories. Now, that's not necessarily a bad thing as apples have nutrients and fibre that are not only good for you but actually aid in weight loss (as long as you don't eat 20 of them at a time! :) ). Even 2 or 3 a day is healthy.

The amount of calories depends on both the size and type of apple and the numbers can range quite dramatically. Most apples range between about 65 calories on the low end (for a Golden Delicious) to almost 300 calories on the high end (292 calories for a Custord apple, which isn't very common). On average, an apple has about 100 calories.

Cheers! :)
