Is there such a thing as healthy candy?!

Question:

Is there such a thing as healthy candy?

Answers:
Even though company's have come out with "sugar free" or candies that don't have certian fatty-products in them, no actual candy is healthy for you, because of their overall ingredients and how they're made.

Sugar free is probably healthier for you

nope

Not really, but it exists in health foods stores or the health food area of your local grocery store. It's all bullcrap, there's no such thing as healthy candy. Maybe candy w/out sugar or candy w/natural juices, but that's about it.

Some people consider dried fruits and trail mixes healthy candy. Sugar free candy is full of chemical sweeteners, so it's not healthy. Chocolate, however, espescially dark chocolate is good for you, full of antioxidants, mood boosters and cancer fighting agents. Just remember- everything in moderation!!

yeah sugar free is probably the healthiest.

Of course there is. Candy made from natural ingredients - sugar cane, maple syrup or from dehydrated fruits for example. Then you must remember that for something to be healthy you must take it with moderation.

Not really. Sugar's not great for you.

The best "candy" i've found is chocolate enrobed fruit from www.hotelchocolat.com. It sounds horrible if you're not a fruit lover, but the choc covered orange peices are really honestly yummy. It's more like orange jelly, but they do use real orange. Bit like the stuff you get in a Jaffa Cake but covered in choc. x

It's called FRUIT, nature's candy. Sugar free probably isn't the best for you because of artificial sweeteners.

not really but there are sweets that are better for you than others

Candy+healthy= i'm afraid not......

YES! They are called Figamajigs! They are dark chocolate covered figs! High fiber, low fat, bursting with antioxidants!

Nope.

Yes there is. Have you tried dehydrating fruits?
