Are grits healthy?!

Question:

Are grits healthy?

My kids love them, but I wonder if there is any nutritional value to the, plus they eat them with a ton of butter.

Answers:
The butter isn't any good for them.
And margarine really isn't a great substitute.

Whooooo weeeeeeeee Are they ever, Mama always makes them over yonder, And I'm fit as a fiddle.

Grits are corn, so technically they are healthy! However, corn has a lot of natural sugar in it so try not to add sugar to the grits.

As far as the butter goes... C'mon, you have to have some butter in them! LOL Might wanna monitor just how much the kids are putting in them, though!

Take care!

well, considering the fact that they r chock full of salt, butter, and... i dont kno wat else.... probably not!

Yes grits are nutritional. The way I found about grits being so good was one day at C.B, restaurant it came with a sm.jar of maple syrup to which I added some and it was so good.Try it. The grits with butter doesn't do much for me.
