Someone told me and its been in my mind since.

meat of course r u stupid?

I've heard it's about 20-30% real meat. the rest is stomach linings, mashed up skin and more or less, all the other waste parts. But the taste really comes from the gravy, so it's alright.

Well its not the hooves or the ducks beaks like the other person said.

But it is all the scrapings off the bones and skull, sinew, tendon, fat etc.

There is a law in Australia that a meat pie must be about 35% (I think) "real" meat but the rest can be any other edible part of the animal.

Who cares whats in it. They taste great and thats all that matters.

meat...hahah..

Potatoes, carrots, peas, chicken breast, seasonings.

The chicken in chicken pies is chicken.
The beef in beef pies is beef.
The turkey in turkey pies is turkey.

Duh.

whatever simon says goes, ha.''

Blood plasma.

It's the clear liquid that makes the meat look shiny and appetising.

I wish I was joking, but it's true.
