Answers:
I've wondered. He probably just had a session with a dietician and they planned what he should eat, he just arranged it around what subway had to offer. It doesn't take much for someone to become famous, does it? On his tombstone it will say "Here lies less of Jared, he ate at subway".

Yeah, it's probably not entirely true, but eating Subway sandwiches may have helped him so long as he made smart choices about the ingredients.

I just finished losing 32 lbs over the last 3 months and here's the basics of what I did:

1. I cut all white flour and white sugar from my diet. (no more super sweet deserts) Fruit makes a great substitute for desert.
2. I started each day off with a high fiber cereal (one serving only) with a whole banana sliced on it and skim milk. This keeps me filled until lunch.
3. I cut food products with saturated fats from my diet as much as possible.
4. I limited carbohydrates (breads, pasta, rice) to only two small cupped handfuls per meal.
5. I ate more fish and lean meats.
6. I cut out most beef, unless it was really lean.
7. I ate more vegetables.
8. I exercise aerobically at least 30 minutes a day, 5 days out of the week.

So, basically, it was more fiber, less fat, very little sugar, less carbohydrates, more vegetables, more exercise. I've made it a permanent change in my diet and it's made quite a difference in my overall health as well as my weight.

IDK what else he ate. I think he pretty much replaced the fast food he used to eat (Mc Donald's, Wendy's and Burger King) with Subway. From what I understand, he ate at those places quite often, so he did eat a lot of Subway sandwiches.
I know that he also had a regular exercise routine that he stuck with and ate fruit and veggies as snacks.
