Rice or Potato?!

Question:

Rice or Potato?

If you have a choice for your meals, which do you prefer - Rice or Potato? How do you eat your rice or potato and do you eat either of these more than once a day?

Answers:

potato- mashed with butter!

Depends on the meal. Rice for chicken or pork! Potatoes for beef!

depends on what im eating it with. i like rice with lots of gravy and biscuits. and i like potatoes when im eating like a roast or something and i like ranch potatoes..yumm and no i dont usually eat them more than once a day.

Rice is much more versatile in my opinion:

Rice is used in almost every nation as a staple

And the thing that really tips the scale is that rice can be used for dessert as well.

I love both!
Jasmine rice with some salt or some soy sauce.
Garlic new potatoes or a big baked or mashed potato with margarine and salt....mmmm now I'm hungry.
More than once a day- no. Everyday - no. I can't remember the last time I had a potato (sad really)

White rice - yummy!

rice is macrobiotical food.
Rice-ian(yang)
Potato-in

Potatos with chives sourcream butter and cheese mmmm

rice wi tgravy

Love stuffed potatoes- cut out a small hole (3": diam.), keep the "lid", scoop out the flesh, put in a small bowl, add sour cream, garlic and dill and grated cheese and then put it back in the scooped 'tater -sprinkle parmesean cheese and top the lid back on, nuke for 45 secs or until cheese is melted.

That is the fave potato in our family

i'd rather have rice. i eat my rice fried with shrimp, beef, and other tasty ingredients (chinese carry out). i eat rice more than once a day
