Whats a mini giant squid?!

Question:

Whats a mini giant squid?

thats like saying a jumbo shrimp.

Answers:
It's probably what's known as a "Jumbo Squid," or a "Huboldt Squid" (Dosidicus gigas).

They get about 4 feet long and are caught frequently in the Sea of Cortez. Recently, they've also been found along the coast of southern California.

And I hear they're good eating!

A baby giant squid. Or something in between a normal quid and a giant squid. And no that is not like saying Jumbo shrimp.

Never heard of it, but I've had experiences with Prairie Squid.

an oxymoron

Sounds like an oxymoron to me.

Otherwise it could be the same species as the giant squid, just a smaller version. Maybe?

It's a giant squid that is smaller than the average giant squid. I know what you mean though.
