Why do so many vegatarians have such a "holier-than-thou, I'm-better-than-you, condescending" attitude? I see it so much in life and especially here in Y!A. Not eating meat does not make you better than me. It does not make you nicer than me. It does not make you cooler than me. It just means you like cauliflower and beets more than I do. Please knock it off with your snide remarks about meat and people who choose to eat steak and ribs. If you want to spend your life meatless, that's your choice. But don't take it out on those of us who do enjoy meat.

Seriously, tho, I agree. I basically get annoyed when anyone gets an attitude like their lifestyle makes them better than others -- veggie or otherwise.

Some people turn vegetarianism in2 like an elite club type of thing, while it's really just an eating habit. It's not that big a deal..
because they are secretly craving your steak and maintaining thier pious self discipline is really hard work!!!!

You must be doing something to bother the vegetarians you meet, otherwise, you're just hanging around with the wrong vegetarians.
Part of me thinks that maybe you feel guilty in your eating habits, and unconsciously bring this sort of thing upon yourself.
If you really didn't feel guilty, you wouldn't need to make a fuss about this. You would just accept people for who they are, vegetarian or not.
Of course, the fact is that most vegetarians are simple, quiet, decent folk. You get the odd rowdy holier-than-thou one, but really, I think you're hanging around the wrong crowd.
Ulitmately, it doesn't matter.
Maybe they are missing meat but don't want to cheat. Maybe its just certain people with attitudes, may be and probably is a coincidence you think? At times I have one but eat seafood, see food and eat it! L.O.L.!
WHY DO YOU GENERALIZE? There are plenty of meat eaters who come into v&v and troll,but do I think all meat eaters act like that?No,because that would be stupid to generalize.
