Whats a good midnight snack?

is a cup of chicken soup good??


Answers:
Midnight snacks aren't good if you are trying to lose weight, but sometimes your stomach needs something. Anything high protein and low carb would be good. Chicken soup should be fine as long it doesn't have noodles in it. Just avoid the carbs. Carbs are for energy, you don't need energy when you are going back to bed.

Carbs turn into fat on your body, because fat is stored energy.

I would say yes..you don't want anything too heavy especially if you're going to go to sleep shortly.

That's good or a small bowl of cereal.

but a healthier choice is some fruit or crackers :]

Cold Maui Zaui pizza with ranch from Round Table Pizza. Make sure it is the sealed ranch cup that they have, it is the best. Wash it down with a liter of Dr. Pepper.

yeah....whateva you want...unless ur trying 2 eat healthy or something....usually I eat ice cream or whatever I'm in the mood for....but not anything big like a meal

chicken soup often has a lot of sodium check that if it's a problem for you.

I like a bowl of cereal, usually Special K fruit and yogurt, just a personal favorite, sometimes a bowl of yogurt with cereal on top, I sense a theme here.

chiicken soup is kind of acidy, but there is that new special K cereal ythats really good and good 4 u and it wont ruin ur nite. =)

something satisfying but not high in fat or calorie. raw veggies, cup of soy milk, oatmeal

Some description of sandwich, pre-made so that you don't have to make it during the night then clean everything up.

My favorite is fruit.

PB & J with a glass of milk! YUM! Plus the milk will help you sleep. That was my midnight snack almost every night when I was preggers!

Just have a glass of warm milk. Don't have anything heavy and don't drink anything that has caffine like coffee or coke beacause thats gonna keep you awake most of the night. Don't have chicken soup, just have something light that won't bug you when you're sleeping.

I get up every night and eat cold peanut M&Ms from the fridge and at least a quart of cold milk to wash them down.

i have a really bad habit. I have to have a rice krispie treat before bead. For some reason I cant sleep unless i have one. And a big glass of ice water. Then im out cold. Werid habit i know but its light and low in fat.

Vegetables, cooked, steamed or raw are the best along with legumes such as black-eyed peas which will turn your sugars into energy... These foods don't require acids to break down like all others do that must be taken earlier in the day... as your body produces acid to break down just about everything you eat earlier in a way that you won't get fat with them... Water is always good... a fruit won't hurt you... and if you wish to really help your body flush the bad fat, put half the juice of one lemon in 8 oz. of hot water before bed...
