for use with Crudites or marinades

Ranch Dressing

2 Cups Mayo
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
1 Cup Milk or Buttermilk
Garlic Powder to Taste
Onion Powder to Taste
Dill to Taste
Parsley to Taste
Salt & Pepper to Taste

Whisk together - chill & store in the fridge.

KNORR SPINACH DIP

1 package (10 oz.) baby spinach, chopped or 1 package (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 container (16 oz.) sour cream
1 cup Hellmann's? or Best Foods? Real Mayonnaise
1 package Knorr? Vegetable recipe mix
1 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and chopped (optional)
3 green onions, chopped (optional)

Combine all ingredients and chill about 2 hours. Serve with your favorite dippers to your favorite people.

Hollow out cucumber slices and cherry tomatoes. Fill vegetables with Knorr? Spinach Dip and garnish with a sprig of dill.

Cut the top off a round loaf of good bread - scoop out the inside - fill it with the dip. Makes a great presentation.

MAKES 4 cups dip.

Herbed Yogurt Dip

2 (8 ounce) containers plain, non-fat yogurt
1 tablespoon dried parsley
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/8 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/8 teaspoon dried chervil
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Mix yogurt, parsley, garlic, thyme, marjoram, chervil, and black pepper together in a medium-sized bowl.

Chill until ready to serve.

Metric:
448 g plain, non-fat yogurt
1 g dried parsley
2 cloves garlic, minced
0.1 g dried marjoram
0.1 g dried chervil
0.3 g ground black pepper

Veggie Dip

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup steak sauce
1 tablespoon chili sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika or smoked paprika

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Refrigerate until serving.

Metric:
224 g cream cheese, softened
60 ml steak sauce
15 ml chili sauce
1 g garlic salt
2 g celery salt
0.6 g paprika

Do you have any mayonnaise? Nice as a dip on its own, or you can add a little curry powder or a little tomato ketchup to make it more interesting. Natural yoghurt with a dash of lemon juice is good, too.
