Help! How do I get this out of my freezer?!
Help! How do I get this out of my freezer?
OK...in the interest of saving money, I bought a few lbs of ground turkey. When I got home, I divided the raw ground turkey in ziploc bags and threw them in the freezer. Well, one of the ziploc bags of ground turkey got squooshed in a weird way and so a corner of the bag got wedged under the metal rack/shelf in the freezer. The ground turkey froze and so now the ziploc bag of turkey is now stuck in the freezer and is completely useless. I can't get it out!
So...do any of you have a creative solution to my problem? I know, I feel like such an idiot. I guess what I could do is take out all the food from the refrigerator & freezer and then unplug it, let the turkey defrost and remove it then. But that seems like a lot of work and effort.
Anyone got any better ideas? Thanks

I have an idea..
Take a ziplock bag of hot water (or a hot water bottle, if you have one). Lay this over the smooshed part of the turkey. Keep exchanging it out for a hot one until the turkey thaws a bit, then pull it out.
Or you could always just take a sharp knife, warm that up, and chop the chunk off. Of course, the downside to that is that you'd have to have turkey spaghetti that night.
Yum.
Good luck..
You could try pouring boiling water on it. Then get it out and wipe the water out of the freezer. Very interesting case there...
well 1 idea is like get a lighter or like a torch and like burn the zip lock bag off the melt the turkey and it mite wotk but ull wast a small portion of ur turkey
