Mayonnaise because it tastes better, plus it has more fat and who cant use more fat

Duke's Mayonnaise - because it is the BEST!!

Here in the South, we use Miracle Whip because it's got a zing to it that ordinary mayonnaise wouldn't have. In fact, for our older "seasoned citizens," Miracle Whip and mayo is the same. If I asked my aunt for a sandwich with mayonnaise, she'd put Miracle Whip in it.

I love real mayonnaise. Both Hellman's/Best Foods and Kraft. Miracle Whip has a strange, almost sickly-sweet taste, to me. I can eat it, but I definitely prefer the rich taste of mayo.

I generally go for the Mexican version, Mayonesa con Limón (mayo with lime juice) when I can, since it's often available where I live. Tasty.

Making home-made mayonnaise is great, too. It's delicious.

Hellman's is more tart, Miracle Whip more sweet. Depends on your tastes.

neither! Dukes mayonnaise. I usually eat Miracle Whip because it's better for you but when we run out, I usually grab the Duke's at the store!

Hellman's makes a mayonnaise out of canola oil which I use because it is healthier!!

Miracle whip because it is sweeter.

Mayo because miracle whip tastes like crrraaaaaap!

Miracle whip seems to lack some flavor, so I prefer mayo. I also like using 1 part mayo and 1 part ranch dressing, its really good if you eating sandwiches with vegitables on it.

I prefer mayonaise on sandwiches because it doesn't have that (sort of yucky) zing that Miracle Whip has, but for recipes my mom made when I was growing up (pasta salad, potato salad, etc.), I still use Miracle Whip because that is how it my mom made it and I want that familiar taste. The zing isn't bad if it is mixed in with other flavors.

Duke's, but I can't find any in the Houston area. :( Does anybody knows where I can get some around here? My cole slaw, potato salad, tuna & egg salads just aren't the same.

We normally use Miracle Whip for every day use for sandwiches and salads, but I have a dip recipe that asks specifically for Hellman's. Miracle Whip although good for everything else, ruins this recipe because of its sweet taste
Dill Veggie Dip
2/3 cup Hellman's mayonaise
1/3 cup sour cream
1Tblsp.dried onion flakes
1Tblsp.parsley flakes
1 tsp.dill WEED
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Mix and refrudgerate over night to blend flavours
NOTE: this is especially tasty on tomato and cucumber sandwiches. I always double the batch because it never lasts long enough in our house
