Breakfast (Le petit Dejeuner) Cornflakes or other cereal with milk (au lait), toast with jam (avec confiture), croissants with butter (avec beurre), coffee with or without milk (avec ou sans lait).
Lunch (Dejeuner) Beans on toast (Haricot au pain frappe), A beefburger (Le beefburger), Poached eggs on toast (?ufs pochés)
Dinner (Repas) Steak and Chips, (La bifstek avec pommes frites)

onions soup.....onion omlettes...onions and french fries....onion bargees for the french asians

frogs legs with onions and a garlic and herb sauce plus bread sticks washed down with pints of wine

Anything seasonal with lots of fresh vegetables, herbs, olive oil and garlic...

eg:

Pork cutlets with tomato & mozzarella salad - served with bread.

wild mushroom pie with many varieties of mushroom (this is more Autumnal)

Fresh fruit.

Avoid the clichés if you are trying to impress a French person. Stick to using the freshest of ingredients, lots of Mediterranean veg and simple recipes - that's the classic French way!

All the fluff with intricate sauces presented on a bed of this with a distillation of that is just a way to charge high prices.

Good luck :)

I would start the day with:
Menage a trois
Go for a little:
Touche for luncheon
And round the day off with a little
Suche ma Bitte.
HMMM!

Breakfast - frogs
Lunch - Snails
Dinner - crossaint
