Are week old wings still good?!

Question:

Are week old wings still good?

I have had my wings from bw3's last week in my fridge. are they still good?

Answers:
No way! Meat is only good in the fridge for a few days, and if you got them at a restaurant you have no way of knowing how fresh they were to begin with.

Probably not, I wouldnt try to eat them even if they smell fine generally meat in the fridge is no good after 3 days.

microwave em

As long as they were wrapped well and don't smell funny.

I wouldn't eat any kind of chicken after being in the fridge for a week like that - throw it away! No use in possibly getting sick over it.

I don't see why not, you didn't leave them out.

i have a rule if it doesnt smell , it isnt growing anything, and its not still alive - its good to go - reheat um in the oven they taste better that way

Nuke 'em and it's all good.
Washed down with cold beer, how can it not be good?

smell em

No. Toss 'em.

reheat in oven at a low temp wrapped in foil .. wont burn and internal temp might get high enough to kill anything that might make you sick

Those dried up rancid scrawney looking things? You mean you might even try them now? Must have a heartier stomach than I, or just being to lazy to go get more. Try a piece of sugar butter toast instead.

The general rule is to not eat poultry after it is 4 or 5 days old. I would throw it out-you don't want to risk salmonella.
next time you have leftover wings, try freezing them. They don't taste that bad after microwaving them.

If you are in question about them, DON'T eat them. When in doubt, throw it out. I wouldn't take the chance and get sick.

Depends how old they were to start w. and how good your fridge is, if fresh cooked and good fridge they will be fine, if they were fresh uncooked and the fridge is good they will be near the edge, go by the smell.

Come on if you have to ask you need to toss them. Now think about making enough money that you could not give a thought about it, you would just get more.
