On Cherries (Sweet or Sour) are WIND SCARS. As the wind blows and the cherries are very tender leaves or small branches can scratch the surface and create a cut. This cut will discolor at times and looks like scratch marks.

Idk what the scratches are from but those fruit are safe to eat most fruit are but wash it good to make sure

Just like us, fruit skin can bruise, but you just wash and remove that piece if it bothers you it's safe.

The marks are just from rubbing against a bit of branch. Nothing to worry about. Most fruit will develop them, cherries just seem to be a bit more tender.
