Question:

Why they invented french fries?

im working at mcdonalds,im wondering why they invented french fries and why FRENCH?

Answers:
Sir Earl 'duke' Frenchie.... He needed a way to make a few potatoes go a long way for his troops... and whaddaya know... the french fry was born. He wasn't actually French, he was a Roman, the fry took after his name, not his background

ahem, FREEDOM fries!

they not french, french fries are belgium, and they are called french because "french" is the name of the cut they are, long rectangle cuts is a french cut

during US civil war, a french helping US troops in the field is very annoying to a cavalry cook. annoyed enough he accidentally dipped his fingers in a hot oil while frying potato strips. he shouted "$!*t t^!$$ $**0%b!t!!!". recomposing himself se said 'excuse my french'. the french did not understand what he said, decided to call it french fries.

...not the tomato strips, the fried fingers!

joke!!!

cuz theyre so dang good!
