rice is a part of my everyday diet...part of being asian, i guess. but today, rice will be eaten with some fantastic teriyaki chicken.
I like dal (curry lentals)with my rice.

diced chicken breast, lots of veggies, spices and herbs and maybe a nice sauce or broth of some sort to give the rice flavor. maybe soy sauce or cream of chicken...
As a Puerto Rican, we have rice almost every day. I prefer it with red kidney beans and pork chops. Mmmm!
