Are you a picky eater? What won't you eat and why?!

Question:

Are you a picky eater? What won't you eat and why?

I'll pretty much eat anything and I love trying ethnically diverse foods. The only thing I don't particularly care for is cucumbers (I hate the smell of them), but I will eat them in certain situations.

I just know that so many of you are picky out there and I'm just curious to know why.

Oh I'm with Beebs... I prefer to eat things that aren't unnatural or overprocessed. That's not really what I meant... I'm talking food in the natural state to begin with. Like yeah, I won't eat any type of fast food, so I guess to some that makes me a picky eater.

I dont eat anything processed, or that contains artificial or "natural" flavors, colors, preservatives, strange ingredients, or ingredients that I cant identify. Too many "natural" things are derived from dead animals, animal glands, stomachs (rennet in cheese) or anything that is not a natural food. I eat only organic vegetarian foods-and I am much healthier than when I was eating stuff my body didnt know how to process

peanut butter too stupid

i dont like tofu

Pickled beets...just something about the texture and smell of them. Ewwww....gives me the willies!

i am the pickist of the picky.
when i was little i woudln't eat anything green..
and now i only eat things green very rarely...
it gets better, i don't eat tomatoes... but i use ketchup... i don't like relish... but i like pickles... i don't like coconut but i love pinia coladas..
need anymore explanations?

mustard the smell is so nasty!!!

I don't like things with weird textures like clams or mussels. I also don't like things like jello and banannas because they start 'solid' and turn to mush instantly.

I don't eat any meat (except fish) or any dairy. I have no reasons other than the fact that I just don't like it. Just the smell of certain meat or dairy products will make me nauseous. I don't eat much fruit either, for the same reasons. (Just don't like it) So yea, Im picky, but really have no good reason for it. :)

I feel the same way about string beans...........

liver ewww

i am extremely picky, it would be easier to tell you what i do eat instead of what i don't eat. and its because my mother never made me eat anything i didn't want to when i was growing up, so i generally don't try new things.

i'm with brittney, i love ketchup and spaghetti sauce but hate tomatoes, love pickles but don't care much for relish, greens are not for me, allergic to cauliflower, will use onion powder and onion soup mix but refuse to use real onions.

meat with a funny texture- the gristle and fat really creep me put. also ham salad - the texture is like dry bits of nut that won't go away. and boiled egg yolk- it's like eating dried paint powder.

also Vegemite- it you have ever tried it you would totally understand.
bleu and Roquefort cheeses- if i don't see the mold, i can pretend it doesn't exist.

I hate seafood.

i'm a vegetarian, so i won't eat cattle, swine, poulty, fish or game. that's about it.

I'm not a picky eater but there are things i won't eat. For example, i won't eat squid or spinich or bresseul sprouts or some greens or other things.

No I'm not AN PICKY EATER BUT THERE ARE SOME THING THAT i WONT EAT. some TIMES ITS HARD TO TRY NEW FOODS AND I judged THEM BY THE WAY THEY LOOK

I will eat anything. I don't care for black licorice candy, though, which is weird because I love fennel and sambuca and ouzo. And I don't really like authentic Indian curries because they don't use any salt, if you add salt it's fine.

not so picky but i won't take bitter food, that's all
