How long can a dried red chile ristra last?!

How long can a dried red chile ristra last?

i have 2 red chile ristras and have had them for about 8 months. they have dried out and are hanging in my kitchen. i wondered if there was a time that they would not be good to use anymore?


Answers:
ristras are usually good for quite awhile. Use them within the first year and a half and they should be fine. it depends on the weather and the enviroment they are in as well.
