How long should you leave a pizza out for?!

Question:

How long should you leave a pizza out for?

My husband likes to leave the pizza out overnight and eat it the next day. I told him that the cheese grows bacteria within 15 to 20 minutes, but he doesn't believe me..lol go figure.

Answers:
Both the meat and the cheese are cause for concern. Leftovers should be refrigerated as soon as you are finished eating ideally, but no more than 1 to 2 hours later, depending on the temp and humidity in your home.

I would love to know the answer to this, I leave pizza out all the time! Ewwww!

lol I can understand that..... I think it depends on the temp. it is in the house. If it is room tempature then you are probably fine to eat it the next day. If it is warm inside then it probably shouldn't be eaten just in case...

well i dont thnk it leaves bacteria but maybe he should refridgerate it then just to be safe. and then microwave it or something more simple

It's just like any other food. It will grow bacteria. By morning it is loaded with it. Wrap it in foil, and put it in the refrigerator within an hour of finishing dinner.
