I'm looking for the name of a mint candy from the 1970s - Can you help?!


Question:

I'm looking for the name of a mint candy from the 1970s - Can you help?

They were the same shape as ALTOIDS, but they were about 2-3 times bigger, and not as strong. If I recall, they came in two flavors (represented by the colors white and pink). I haven't seen them for at least 25 years. Do you remember what they were called?

Canada mints, by the New England Confectionary Company (NECCO).

The white ones are peppermint, the pink ones are wintergreen. They still sell them.

i remeber my grandma loved them but i dont remember what they where called. if u remeber who made them u can check their website

I wonder if you are talking about Brach's Wintergreen or Peppermint Lozenges. I still buy them at the grocery store, in the hanging packages. Hope you can find them; I love the wintergreen.

mommentos?? If there is a Cracker Barrel Resturant anywhere near you they have all the older candies that you can't find anymore anywhere, in the store part of the resturant. Go look and you might spot the one you're talking about.
