Bodybuilder food question? Quick question?!
Bodybuilder food question? Quick question?
What is a major ingredient or food in disguise I shouldn't eat. I know not to eat ice cream, donuts, fries, fat people food duh . I'm talking about in disguise foods.
Answers:
There's no particular food/ingredient to look for. You should consume the following, in order of most amount per day:
1) Complex carbs - Wheats, oats, breads...
2) Proteins - Meats, protein shakes, dairy...
3) Simple carbs(sugary foods) - Fruits, Gatorade...
4) Unsaturated fat - Fish oil, plant oil...
Granted you need your daily vitamins and minerals, but those are the four main things you should look for when eating food.
Some other things to keep in mind are:
- Stay away from trans fats and saturated fats unless you want heart disease(fats that are solid at room temp.)
- Eat a plentiful breakfast every day
- Eat somewhat smaller and more meals per day, allowing you to eat more overall
- Limit cholesterol and sodium intake
- Take a multi-vitamin
- Creatine is a great supplament too!(Kre-Alkalyn or Creatine Monohydrate)
- I like to drink weight gainer shakes(protein and carbs) to gain mass, but some people like to stay "natural"...why?!
- Dont listen to people telling you to stay away from sugary drinks/foods(gatorades and stuff); infact, it is best to consume a sugar food directly after you workout, it helps your muscles "repair" in a way.
- Also make sure you consume protein directly after you workout. This is what makes weight gainer shakes so convenient, they have protein, complex carbs, and simple carbs!
Thats about all i can think of. I'm pretty informed on this topic, if you have any questions I can give you my e-mail address if you'd like.
Hope I helped!

if u wanna get big muscles eat anything with protein avoid cholestrol
Sodium. It bloats you and takes away from the cut look.
Do not drink Gatorade, they were calling high fructose corn syrup *fructose glucose*, I just recently saw high fructose corn syrup in parentheses. Very, very sneaky of Gatorade!!
Rice and potatoes both turn to starch after eating. If you are trying to be lean, you need to avoid them.
