Do potato wedges contain gluten, wheat or dairy?!

Question:

Do potato wedges contain gluten, wheat or dairy?

I know hot chips don't, but am just curious what is on the outside of the wedges?

Answers:
It is the breading on the out side that does.

It is very easy to make them at home and they are better for you.

Plain
cut potatoes into wedges or fries thin or thick.

put into the bowl and coat with olive or canola oil just enough to coat them.

Place on a cookie sheet
Cook in a preheated oven at 350 *F for thick wedges you may have to cook up to one hour depending on how thick you cut them Turn them over every 15 min's to prevent them from sticking. If you cut them very thin they will be done in 5 to 10 min's

You can deep fry them. If you do not have a deep frier place oil in a wok 2/3 full with canola oil heat half way between med and high DO NOT LEAVE THE WOK UNATTENDED. DO NOT SPLASH OIL OR FILL TOO FULL. DO NOT LET IT GET TOO HOT.

you can season them with salt and pepper

Spicy fries

Mix in sm bowl
1 table spoon pepper
1 table spoon paprika
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
to 1 table spoon depending on how hot you like them
1 teaspoon salt
you can add garlic powder and onion powder
or any other pepper you like
mix the mixture and put into a shaker

Once you have the potatoes on the cookie sheet sprinkle with this mix toss and do the other side

If you want the breaded kind
In a bowl put gluten free flour the kind you prefer
add the spices mix
toss the potatoes in the flour mix

place on cookie sheet

My sister can not have gluten

That is wheat gluten (flour) on the outside. And also pepper and salt.

You'll have to be more specific because there are lots of different recipes out there; so, unless you can list ingredients or a method of preparation, you won't be able to get a reliable answer.

im not sure maybe if your out you should ask or check the ingrediants on a packet?

If you can't eat either of those things you have to be vigilant about reading packets. Beacuse the seasoning on wedges could have wheat based things in them. if in doubt ask the staff.
