My whole mouth is chapped from chewing Cinnamon gum yesterday.?!

Question:

My whole mouth is chapped from chewing Cinnamon gum yesterday.?

Does this happen to anyone else? I love the taste of cinnamon gum, but the next day, my tounge and the roof of my mouth feels horrible. Everything I eat doesn't taste as good and its like it has ripped all of my tastebuds out of my tounge. It normally goes away after a couple of days and then I just don't new cinnamon gum anymore. But I like it, does this happen to anyone else? What is the cause of it?

Answers:
That's crappy! This doesn't happen to me, but some people really do have a sensitivity to cinnamon. It could be caused by a variety of issues- allergy or sensitive gums being the top two. I would try to stay away from the cinnamon, since it is causing an adverse reaction. I would maybe try a clove gum, since clove tastes a little like cinnamon, and it won't give you a reaction like that. Good Luck! Hope your mouth feels better!

see a doctor dear
and stop chewing cinnamon gum =] !!
