Are there any NATURAL sweeteners besides sugar?!

Question:

Are there any NATURAL sweeteners besides sugar?

Or, are there any artificial sweeteners or sugar-substitutes that aren't going to kill me? :)

Answers:
Honey is a good natural sweetener and tastes really good in coffee or tea.

Honey

honey.

I've heard that sucking down some manmeat really sweetens things up a bit.

Fructose which is fruit sugar.

honey, molasses, fruit juice, apple sauce, etc....

sure there are. theres honey ---raw sugar even a diabetic can eat some---as for sugarless sugars ,SPLENDA is supposed to be the best for you. i personally cannot use any artifficial sweetners for medical reasons

we have always used honey as a substitute..

There is now something called stevia. It's a little pricier than splenda or other substitutes but it's natural and you can find it in the grocery stores.

You might also want to try stevia. It comes from a plant, and has no calories.

My mom uses this Organic Liquid Sweetener - she adds it to her coffee each morning. Its USDA Organic certified. Its Blue Agave Nectar - by Sweet Cactus Farms. (she buys the light, mild taste) Its comes in a bottle and is a clear, brown liquid.

On the bottle it says:

- Suitable for diabetics and vegans
- An exciting new sweetener naturally extracted from the pineapple-shaped core of the Agave, a cactus-like plant native to Mexico. With a 90% fruit sugar content, our 100% Blue Weber Agave Nectar absorbs slowly into the body, decreasing the highs and lows associated with sucrose intake. Premium Agave Nectar is at least 35% sweeter than sugar, so you can use less and save on calories.

It also has directions for baking.

She buys it in the organic section of the supermarket.

It has 15 calories per 1 tsp.

And it doesnt taste bad!!

yes me my dad think
