Can you eat moldy bread if you cut off the mold?
or is it garbage as soon as it gets a spot on it?
Answers:
i'd throw it out if I were you.
can eat with the mold
It is typically not recommended. You may have a mold allergy that you are not aware of ......and besides why take the risk of being really sick......bread is cheap.
Yeah...ya need to toss it. The mold that you see? There is a lot more that you don't see! Once it has started to mold, the spores are all over it, even though you can't see them.
Pitch it!
I wouldnt especially since Im allergic
to penicillan.
I just bought a loaf yesterday and the expiry date was not for a week. Well I found a dime sized spot of mold on it.
I was kinda ticked considering I just bought it. I threw out that slice and kept the rest of the loaf.
I pull it off all the time, and eat it
bread is cheap! Buy a fresh loaf!
No, it needs to be tossed out.
you can actually eat the mold...it would be nasty but it wont hurt you..so of course you can eat the bread
It's garbage honey! You can only get away with that with cheese. Bread turns into mold you can get really sick. Cheese turns into what they make penicillin out of, you can cut off a mouldy piece and eat the rest.
