Why would cooked chicken be green on the inside?!

Question:

Why would cooked chicken be green on the inside?

When I was serving the chicken, I noticed the breast tender had a bright green color to it. The rest of the chicken looked fine, and it didn't smell or anything before I cooked it! Why would the chicken be green??

Answers:
Was it left over from Saint Patrick's Day?

I am not sure, but I really wouldnt eat it if I were you. It could be mold or something of that sort.

=]

sounds like it was off to me, did you eat it?

Could there have been something in any spices or sauce that you used that would do that? If not I wouldn't eat it....

Where did you buy it? I would take it to the store and ask them.

Did you cook it in a copper container or an aluminum container?

The green color seems like a warning sign, "Not to Eat".

What this a whole chicken or fresh chicken ?
Or was it a packaged meal?
If it was a packaged, processed chicken... I would definitely return it.
