How do you cut a watermelon nice and clean?!

Question:

How do you cut a watermelon nice and clean?

Whenever I cut watermelons, either there's more watermelon on one side than the other, or the slice is really messy. How do I cut it nicely?

Answers:
Your knife isn't sharp enough.

The best way is to use a really sharp knife and make sure the watermelon is cold/chilled.

Wash and rinse the thing thorough. Cut it in half, cut the half in quarters, and slice the quarters. If you want to peel it, cut it in half, lay it cut side down and move the knife from the core to the sliced side until you make your way all around the melon. Then slice or cube.

First make sure you have a large and sharp knife. Cut the chilled watermelon into quarters first and then each quarter into slices

just use a nice sharp knife
and slice in half
then you slice the half again
and then slice up to thin slices
just like how you see it on tv
