I need a cheese expert !?!

Question:

I need a cheese expert !?

I HAD SOME CHEESE IN THE LAKE DISTRICT IT WASN'T HARD BUT IT WASN'T SOFT ENOUGH TO SPREAD ,WAS YELLOW WITH BLACK PEPPER CORNS IN IT, WHAT IS IT CALLED AND WERE CAN I GET SOME ??????????????????????????????...

Answers:
Tricky, as your description is a bit spartan, but here are two possibilities you might consider?

Westmorland Wonder Cheese

Made on the Sillfield Farm in Cumbria. This cheese is soft and crumbly, available with many flavours, favourites being hot black pepper, chives and onions, and sweet pickle.

Wealden Round Cheese

An unpasteurised, cow’s milk, organic soft cheese with black pepper and garlic, made by Charlie Westhead at Caeperthy, Dorstone in Herefordshire

The Dorstone creamery is part of Neal Yard's Dairy so you should be able to get the Wealden Round through them. I haven't been able to track a retail source for the Westmorland Wonder, I'm afraid.

Hope this helps some of the way at least.
