It says microwave popcorn produces chemicals in factories that give you some kind of popcorn lung cancer thing.

Is this true and does it effect us eating it at home?

Answers:
This is the first that I have heard of this. I just use a brown lunch bag and pour the loose grains of popcorn into it. Add a little salt and lightly spray it with Pam spray. Pop it for 2 minutes in the microwave. It is delicious and cheaper as well. My grandchildren love it fixed this way!

NO and NO.

There was a scaremonger article that said that workers in the factory who spray the mist of butter onto the kernels inside the factory might (their lawyer hopes) be injured by the spraying machines and the mist and might be able to sue for damages and retire rich.

Besides the questionable accuracy of the factory story no one ever said that the corn itself was a hazard.

Keep eating if you are a fan of that stuff.
