Which of the following fruit is healthiest? And why?
A. Apple
B. Banana
C. Blueberries
D. Strawberries
*I know they're all good, but which do you think & why is healthier?*
Answers:
It's generally said that the fruit with the most color has the most vitamins. Blueberry is suppose to have the most anti-oxidant, so it gets my vote. Strawberry, bannana than apples. Unless you eat the skin, apple is bad for you. Its pretty much all sugar.
Don't you rememeber the saying an apple a day keeps the doctor away.
It's a toss-up between blueberries and strawberries.
I would pick blueberries since they were listed as a "superfood" because they contain a lot of antioxidants and fiber.
Strawberries would be good too, but it seems that more people tend to be allergic to strawberries than blueberries.
Apples and Bananas are good, but tend to have a lot of carbs which some people say are "bad".
From the article below -
It is true that good things come in small packages. Used by Native Americans for medicinal purposes, blueberries are a tiny fruit that combines a wide variety of nutrients. "Blueberries don't have a huge amount of any single nutrient, but they have the synergy of multiple nutrients," Pratt says. "There's vitamin C, folic acid, fiber, carotenoids, and hundreds of other compounds in this one small fruit. Blueberries also have a very thick skin, which is where nature packs most of its nutrients."

I think that blueberries are now supposed to be the best. They are packed with all kinds of anti-oxidants, fiber and other good stuff.
On the cost scale of nutrition to dollars though, bananas beat them all. Full of complex carbs, fiber, and potassium, they are super good for you, and only about 50 cents a pound. You just can't beat that.
I beleive blueberries are.
buleberries are but they are also the worst b/c it is one of the most sprayed fruit, unless you get organic blueberries
