What Meat has the lowest protein - Chicken - Fish or Beef?!

Question:

What Meat has the lowest protein - Chicken - Fish or Beef?

Thanks to the high protein diets... my kidneys are spewing 3x the amount of protein. My Dr. advised me to go on a "faceless" diet. If it has a face, eat only 1 serving a day. Does anyone know which meat/fish/poultry is the lowest?
Your help is GREATLY appreaciated.

Answers:
They are all high protein sources. Theoretically beef would be the lowest because it is the most fatty. Chicken would be second because of the fat in the skin. Fish is the most protein containing of the three.
If your doctor does not want you to eat much protein, then look to the fruits, veggies and carbs.

chicken.of course

Chicken

If you are looking to eat low protein meats, eat what you like, but less of it. They are all about the same.

High protein diets can't be altered to have less protein. What you need is a balanced diet....protein, carbs, and fat.

The problem isn't eating meat....it is the stupid (no offense to you personally) DIET.

Proteinuria isn't alway just from eating a lot of meat, but I hope your doctor told you that too. Otherwise I would be looking for another doc.

lowest-beef
middle-chicken
highest-fish

Here, this might give you an insight view:

The leading cause of chronic kidney disease is diabetic nephropathy, which afflicts approximately 40% of patients with diabetes. Currently, therapeutic strategies that are effective in delaying the progression to more advanced stages of nephropathy in patients with diabetes include achieving the best glycemic control, treating hypertension, using drugs that block the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, and treating dyslipidemia. Despite these efforts, progressive decline of the glomerular filtration rate may still persist, and therefore, more interventions are needed. Recent studies have demonstrated that replacement of red meat in the diet with chicken has reduced the UAER and serum cholesterol in microalbuminuric type 2 diabetes patients. The effects of withdrawing red meat have not yet been established in type 2 diabetes patients with macroalbuminuria.

The aim of the current study was to assess the effects of replacing red meat in the usual diet with chicken and of consuming a lactovegetarian low-protein diet on renal function, fatty acid, and lipid profile in macroalbuminuric type 2 diabetes patients.

I didn't care so much about proteins until u made this question... I looked on the web and I found out that the best source are fish AND beans..... now u just have to pick :P

I think is the fish

It has to do with the daily intake of protein. Our liver is not able to process more than 80 grams of protein at a time. Regardless of whether it is fish or chicken or beef. You need to start measuring your daily intakes.
