Frozen Bread, Good or Bad?!

Question:

Frozen Bread, Good or Bad?

Would you freeze an extra loaf of bread to save it for later or is frozen bread just not worth having?

Answers:
I always buy 2 loaves and freeze one its easier than having to go shopping in another day or two just for bread. And it taste just the same once it thaws.

Frozen bread is just fine after thawing.

I did it all the time at the restaurant. Nobody every complained. You just have to take it out hours before eating. Then it's fine.

I just did freeze one. Thaw it when you need it as long as it is in a sealed package it defrosts with no problem.

I freeze bread all the time. It thaws out fine.

It's fine, nobody can tell the difference.

Frozen bread tastes just as good as fresh. It's one of the things that freezes really well. Occasionally, it'll have a lot of frost on it... in that case, take it out of the wrapper to defrost so it doesn't get soggy. Generally, you don't have to bother with that step.

I live alone and a loaf of bread will get moldy before I can eat it. I freeze my bread all the time and only take out a few slices at a time. I've been doing this for years.

totally fine- especially for toast!

Freeze it. It's very convenient and it will taste fine.

Yes I would freeze bread , but make sure that it's not frozen when you eat it. And just for your knowledge, if there is any mold on there , you don't want to eat that either.

i freeze it till i need it

I've never liked it.
