Is Belgian chocolate really the best in the world?!

Question:

Is Belgian chocolate really the best in the world?

Answers:
Easily. I was in belgium last summer (2006) and I absolutely loved it. The thing is, it's actually like 80% chocolate rather than 15% chocolate like american chocolate. It takes a while to get used to and it's very strong/bitter at first but I'm hooked now.

i would say so!

It's all a matter of 'taste' ... I LOVE 'dark chocolate' that is 'barely sweetened' ... and I usually buy only the 'expensive dark chocolate' from the 'chocolate boutiques' ... and I'll actually pay up to two dollars apiece for good 'truffles' or 'solid chocolates' ... and I've tasted Belgian chocolate, and actually 'prefer' the 'boutique chocolates' made here in the USA. But that is only 'my taste' ... you'll have to 'try several' and make your own choice ... and have a yummy time while you're doing it.

thats a matter of opinion

YES

YES

I like Austrian and German Chocolate better

It's definitely among the best. Try some and find out.

Not sure on that. I thought swiss was. After I give you some chocolate from different areas, you can taste and judge directly (-;
