Do "they" still make King Vitamin? Remember that cereal?!

Question:

Do "they" still make King Vitamin? Remember that cereal?

When I was a kid in the 70s, there was this cereal that my Mom would buy called King Vitamin. She would not usually buy "sweet" cereals, but this one passed muster with her. I can't find it anywhere, and now that I am 40 (and can eat whatever I want).....I DEMAND it !! It reminded me of Cap'n Crunch. (BTW, do they make Peanut Butter Captain Crunch anymore? If they do, it pales in comparison to the good ole days. That was addictive!! Doesn't that kind of suck that the cereals I grew up with are not here? Hey, they still have Count Chocula and maybe I am in a market that doesn't have King Vitamin. I think it was made by General Mills. Any fond recollections out there by the Gen X-ers ??? Nathan

OMG! I totally remember King Vitamin! I am pretty sure they don't make it anymore, but I had to go looking now, and maybe these will help you reminisce...

I hope these help! Thanks for the laughs!

I dont; think so. They might at old people stores. If they don't have it then I suggest calling up the makers. Google It.

Quaker made it but they don't make it at the moment. Believe it or not they have reintroduced "Quisp" to some markets though.

I am a few years older than you but I never got into King Vitamin and neither did my kids. I looked all over and the only place I saw it offered was on E-Bay but I sure wouldn't want to eat it from there.

Yes they still make Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch and no I still won't eat it, LOL

You can GOOGLE it but I doubt you'll find it still on the market. It faded away along with QUAKE and QUISP from the same era. I do still find peanut butter Crunch from time to time, but I rarely buy sweet cereals now that I no longer have kids at home. These days I rarely go beyond Honey Nut Cheerios.

It's on the shelf at the store I shop at. So it is available. Ask the store manager if they can order it, they might be reluctant to order it if they feel it is a slow mover. If you want it badly enough you could tell them you will buy the whole case. Peanut Butter Captain Crunch is available also.

It is still on the market and actually in my cabinet right now. My kids love it and so do I! I'm 39 so I know where you are coming from. It is by Quaker. By the way, Peanut Butter Captain Crunch is still as addictive as ever!
Peace.
