How many calories (if there are any) in a quart of strawberries?
My friends keep telling me there are calories in there but I'm just not sure.....and my mom always makes me eat fruit (I'm not 22 like I said I was when I got this email...I'm really 11) and I'm trying to lose lotsa fat before September.

They do have calories, but not many. A pint probably has around 100, so a quart maybe has 200 or so. Don't starve yourself to lose weight-it doesn't work. You just end up hungry and then overeating. And your body goes into survival mode and then holds onto fat because you are giving your body the message that it is starving ! Eat lots of whole grains, LEAN meats, fruits, and veggies and drink lots of water. Try to do some exercise over the summer. If you check out the food pyramid and follow it, you could lose weight and get more healthy. They have a website that I'm sure you could find by searching that will give you more details.
