but if u snack it would probably be 7 or5 times a day seeing how its a small portion. Which one is better for your health eating a snack or a big meal?

It is best to eat about every 3 to 4 hours throughout the day (when you are awake). Small meals about 6 are good, but you can also eat 3 "meals" and 2 smaller snacks. the basic idea is to eat consistently so that you do not become so hungry that you overeat when you finally do decide to eat. Keep in mind your goal for your total calories that day. I think a lot of people would take the six small meals and overeat. You have to keep in mind that these meals will be small. I tend to eat for volume which keeps me healthy. For instance, a candy bar may be about 250 calories. that might be a bigger snack or a smaller meal, but for those same 250 calories, i can have a huge salad or a bowl of oatmeal, plus half an apple and a light yogurt. With the candy bar, I would be hungry in no time, but with the other two options I will feel much more satisfied.
