What is the ideal length of time to hold a chocolate covered hobnob in a cuppa?!

Question:

What is the ideal length of time to hold a chocolate covered hobnob in a cuppa?

and how deep should one dunk?

Answers:
3 to 3 and a half seconds, hobnobs go soft quite quick.
Dunk about half way first time, after eating that, turn it sideways and dunk half way of what remains, you should get three dunks out of each Hobnob.

Dunk all the way for 5 seconds, push the whole thing in the mouth and savour!

no more than 3 seconds, as they are very absorbant, only go 1/4 of a way down the biscuit as it could fall apart in your hands, bite the wet biscuit then re-dunk following previous instructions, until entire biscuit has been consumed. Repeat as necessary.

like a milisecond.

so the chocolate doesn't melt..or it does soggy.

according to Peter Kay the hobnob is the "marine" of biscuits, the disability here is the chocolate, and being no more than 2mm thick I reckon it would take no more than 6 seconds before you would be losing ammo.

there is no ideal answer
it is based on many scientific facts.
size of biscuit
specific latent heat of coffee/chocolate/tea
and a special factor known as embuggerance.

no matter how long you think it should be in
the real time is always one second less!
