Why am I drinking vegetable oil?!

Question:

Why am I drinking vegetable oil?

I found some juice called Thirst Rockers. My boyfriend and I have gone through a few gallons by now..he just finished off the last one and noticed the ingredients include "brominated vegetable oil"...wtf is that?? Should I feel sick right now, or is that a typical ingredient?

Answers:
Brominated vegetable oil is used as an emulsifier in citrus-flavored soft drinks such as Mountain Dew, Gatorade, Sun Drop, Squirt and Fresca to help natural citrus flavors stay suspended in the drink and to produce a cloudy appearance.
