Have anyone ever heard of putting an egg in hamburger, before grilling them?!?
I have fresh burger and I want to make hamburgers, and I was thinking about putting an egg in the burger that way they can stay together?!
Answers:
Mix the egg in really well and cook away. It helps them stay together and adds to the moistness of the burger!
Yes my mom does that, and they taste pretty great!

It's not necessary. If you don't play around with the burgers too much and only flip them once they'll stay together.
You put egg in meatloaf dear. You can put chopped up or minced onions in the patty as you make it and it adds great flavor. Your meat should stay together as long as you make a good hamburger patty.
U can add an egg to keep the burger from falling apart and keep it juicy. Adds xtra protein to your burger and u won't even taste the egg.
I would put a fried egg on top of the burger; that might be good.
yup I do that all the time but I have an excess of eggs at my house because I have a big chicken flock.
Use breadcrumbs and a little buttermilk. Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch Mix (the powder mix) tastes great mixed into the meat, also!
The egg helps keep the burger moist, so it doesn't get dried out. Pretty tasty actually. Quit asking about it and just try it.
Yes, it's good that way.
You can it would help keep it together, alon with minced onion, and put some cheese in the center, seal it so the cheese does not melt out, it is great, also take bacon bits and mix with the burger and egg and onion, I am getting an urge for a burger.
I have "home grown" beef, and I always put an egg and a packet of dried onion soup mix in my burgers. They not only stay together well, they stay nice and juicy...
When I make hamburgers I add an egg, onion, garlic, pepper about 2 T spoons milk and a little cracker crumbs or a hand full of oatmeal or dried bread crumbs. You can also add a little bit of open pit sauce ( acouple T. spoons only)
